Reiki is a natural healing energy activated by intention also know as Reiki Healing. It works on every level, not just the physical. The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing, developed by Mikao Usui in Japan early in the 20th century. As a Reiki Therapist, I am basically an antenna for channelling the higher vibrations of energy that isn’t generally noticed or utilised by anyone that hasn’t been attuned.
Reiki is a holistic healing therapy that enables the flow of energy through your auric field and into your body. This energy then works to harmonise and bring every aspect of you – the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual- into balance. This rebalancing takes place through the ‘laying on of hands.’
Life constantly sends us challenges. During difficult times Reiki can help us to cope, by encouraging deep relaxation and promoting a feeling of inner balance and harmony. Using gentle energy, Reiki promotes a calm, peaceful sense of wellbeing.
Reiki is easily adapted and beneficial to many medical conditions, and is suitable for all ages. It expands options for treatment during times of illness. Reiki can accelerate natural healing, and aid in the relief of both physical and emotional pain. Reiki can also generally improve health, and release stored emotions, stress and tension.
After a short consultation, you will lie down (fully clothed) on a massage table.
I will then lay my warm on you and complete a series of hand postions, ensuring your healing is balanced and througher. You may feel the residual heat of their hands or a comforting tingling sensation but you will feel absolutely no pain or discomfort whatsoever
I then complete a chakra balance and then we work on any physical aliments you have, such as a bad back, IBS, ME / MS, Fibromyalgia, PCOS and many many more. Aiming to releave symptoms, any pain you might get and replacing the energy any illness drains from you.
A single Reiki session will undoubtedly benefit you, but to get the full effects of Reiki, where the effects are cumulative, a regular course of sessions is recommended.
